Hello friends! From a new set of demos recorded in April '26 I have a series of electric guitar demos featuring my Yamaha RGZ (alder superstrat, 24-fret shredder w/ high gain bridge humbucker) and a selection of effects pedals. Ivy Pedals X-Synth is a compact guitar synth/fuzz with an analog resonant low-pas filter for the tone control section. This pedal is mainly a square-wave waveshaper with a filter, and it can sound like a synth or fuzz depending on the settings and your playing (monophonic/chords/etc). There is a pre-amplifier that adjusts (Adjust) the sustain and the gating action, then the waveshaper, which is handled by a Schmitt Trigger. This makes the gating/sustain somewhat unique, but the gating is quite helpful for muted parts and noise. Anyway, you can plug whatever you want into this pedal, and the output will all look more/less the same...

Ivy Pedals designs and hand-builds effects pedals with original analog circuits. Currently I'm based in Eugene, Oregon, shipping to the US. Each pedal is an original design of mine, and are usually built in batches of 2-5 pedals, allowing me to test and film a demo for each and every one...
