Disney Riviera Resort Staycation | Check-In Day!

The Tourist Trek goes on a staycation at Disney World! This time we are staying 4 nights and 5 days at the newest DVC Resort, the beautiful Disney Riviera Resort. This resort opened on December 16, 2019 and is themed to Walt Disney's many travels to the European Riviera. During this stay, we booked a Deluxe Studio with a Preferred View overlooking the water play area and the pool.

After a whole room tour and checking out all of the Riviera Resort specific merchandise, we decided to head over to Disney Springs for dinner at the newly reopened Splitsville restaurant. After our night out at Disney Springs, we head back to the resort for a good night's sleep before our big day at Hollywood Studios the next day.
