ACE 16U mounted a comeback after falling behind by as many as 14 points, but they still lost to Sideline Cancer Berks, 66-59, on Saturday.

Mason Horick had a strong outing with 14 points for ACE 16U in the loss.

Trailing 13-11, Sideline Cancer Berks went on a 15-2 run to take the lead. Trailing 62-48, ACE 16U went on a 9-point run to close the gap.

Mason Horick poured in 14 points in the second half as ACE 16U outscored Sideline Cancer Berks 33-28.

ACE 16U's 19-34 shooting on twos was a key factor in the game. Eli Laughlin and Mason Horick each hit multiple three-pointers for ACE 16U. The team shot 6-15 (40%) from beyond the arc. ACE 16U controlled the paint, grabbing 25 rebounds. Manny Williams led the team with eight rebounds. ACE 16U passed the ball well with 12 assists on 25 made baskets. ACE 16U stood tall, blocking seven shots in the game. Manny Williams led the team with six blocks. Also contributing for ACE 16U were Jack O'Brien (13 points), Manny Williams (12 points), Eli Laughlin (11 points), and Noah Young (9 points).

Sideline Cancer Berks was deadly from inside the paint, finishing 17-32 on twos. Sideline Cancer Berks shot well from distance, going 10-25 from three.
