Finally the government told the Supreme Court it should have many moons ago - that one cannot play God sitting in the lofty colonial chambers of the colonial building of the Supreme Court. That co-governance is not envisaged in the Constitution. That there are Red Lines that cannot be breached by any Constitutional functionary. Unfortunately, it may have come a bit too late.
