Trace the glittering glyphs in Tchaikovsky's Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy! This activity is a "doodly" way to follow along with this winter holiday classic. This tracing map is an swirly and graceful, yet focused and expressive, musical activity for elementary students in music class or the general classroom.

⚫️ How to use this activity:
Students will trace the glyphs as the music plays, following the speed and shape.

• They can use scarves or ribbons, they can trace in their with their finger, or they can use a coloring utensil to trace the glyphs on the paper map (free download here: https://bit.ly/sugarplumfairytracingmapyt)

• Repeating sections will have the same glyphs and colors. The way they are traced matches the music, so be sure to follow the pace of the color
