In this special edition of the New York Ableton User Group meetup, Ableton Certified Trainers Ben Casey and Claire Marie Lim will share about some of the new features in Live 11, announced by Ableton earlier this week. Ben Casey is a Brooklyn-based electronic musician, Ableton Certified Trainer, and overall music tech nerd. When he’s not surrounded by wires and drum machines or tinkering with Max for Live, Ben teaches Ableton Live to musicians across all genres, from avant-garde to zydeco.

Claire Marie Lim is a Singapore-born music technologist and educator, also active under her artist project dolltr!ck. She specializes in instruction for live electronic performance, production and programming, and is an advocate of womxn and Asian representation in music technology. Claire teaches at Ableton Certified Training Centers 343 Labs (NYC/Berlin) and Beat Drop (Calgary), and is a professor at Berklee College of Music and the City University of New York.

Saturday - Selway's Techno Saturdays - Hang out with legendary techno producer John Selway as he walks you through his production process and teaches you how to make tracks that will stand out on the dance floor.

Sunday - Feedback Sessions - This is your chance to put your knowledge & skills to the test! Submit your music and get live feedback from Ableton Certified Trainer Atropolis.

Monthly - Mixing Monthly - Grammy award winning audio engineer Ariel Borujow joins us to share his best kept mixing secrets from his successful 20+ year career in the music industry.
