How Video Games Make Us Paranoid

Sony Vegas crashed (and I’m not exaggerating this) over 30 times while editing this video. Which made the editing process of this video an absolute nightmare. I kept hitting CTRL S but it made the once tedious yet rewarding task of editing that much more tedious since I had to keep stopping to open the app again and again. So I apologize if this video doesn’t have as much visual editing to supplement the commentary.

When we think of gaming we tend to think of a form of media that brings us hours or even days of entertainment. Gaming can be very mind-altering and can easily manipulate the way you feel from feeling happiness, sadness, excitement, etc. However, one thing I've noticed is that after playing certain games and as you continue throughout your daily life the games you've been binging may have alerted the way you perceive your everyday experiences. It's really bazaar how some of these games can go as far as making us feel paranoid so that's exactly what I wanted to talk about in this video. May it be a horror game to a game that has literally nothing to do with horror. Gaming can leave a very distinct feeling and it's truly amazing how far the medium has come.
