After struggling with back pain &a fear of falling, Jean regained strength with physical therapy

Jean - "For years, I had back pain and I had osteoporosis, and I had fear of falling, and I needed to have something that would make me feel safer at home. So my primary care sent me to Summa Health Therapy Services.

One of my therapists was Josh, and he made me want to keep coming back because he was encouraging. Whenever I would have an exercise and that it would become easy for me, he would think of a way to make it harder to help me do things that I didn't think I could do.

Before I went to Therapy Service, I felt really weak and I felt vulnerable because I would stumble, but now I feel more confident at home since I'm not afraid of falling.

Even though I don't have to go to physical therapy anymore, I kind of like to go back to see them because they feel a lot more like friends than therapists. They develop a relationship with you instead of you feeling like you're just there as a patient."
