Hi, I’m Erin and welcome to the Bad Denim Review, where we order and try on jeans for you! On this channel, every week, I have a look at a pair of jeans that has piqued my interest. I hope by seeing the jeans on me, it will help you navigate the absolute onslaught of denim choice there is online.

Finding jeans can be a never-ending battle. My goal is to sift through all the denim that is out there and then bring those product pages to life and give you my unbiased industry inside opinion.

You might be wondering who I am and why I am talking to you about jeans. Well, I’ve been into jeans for a while. I’ve worked in denim design and development for just under 20 years working with brands like Paul Smith, Alexa Chung, Whistles, Victoria Beckham and Mih Jeans to name a few.

I even designed a jean for the Spongebob Squarepants Gold collection that showed at London Fashion Week. Here is a picture of me heavily pregnant standing next to fellow Spongebob designer Peter Jensen.

Then in 2014, I opened my own shop, Bad Denim, in Hackney, London. I sold the big names in women’s premium denim, alongside hard to find Japanese brands and painstakingly sourced vintage. We were featured a lot in the press including in Vogue, Elle, Time Out, Drapers, WGSN, The Times, The Telegraph (Stella), Evening Standard and some obscure and fantastic Japanese fashion magazines.

Now I have taken all of that pent up big denim energy and launched it into this channel, The Bad Denim Review - where I have a look at the myriad of jeans that are for sale online and help you make some decisions you don’t regret.
