Let's Capture The Horsehead Nebula Using A ZWO Duo Band Filter
In this video I share my first results using ZWO Duo Band Filter that I received when purchased my new camera ZWO ASI 2600MC Pro.
In the video I show some single exposures of the Horsehead nebula that I was taking during four nights. I started with the sky under the Moon with 54.5% illumination and finished under 80.8% Moon phase.
I mention it just in case - the video is NOT sponsored.
Gear that I used:
Telescopes: Sky-Watcher Evostar 80ED + 0.85x focal reducer
Mount: Sky-Watcher HEQ-5 Pro
Camera: ZWO ASI 2600 MC Pro (gain 0, offset 50, sensor temperature -20°C)
Filter: ZWO Duo Band Filter (15 hours worth of data) + Optolong L-Pro (3 hours worth of data).
More details about picture:
Frames with ZWO Duo Band filter: 131 x 300", 26 x 600".
Frames with Optolong L-Pro filter: 24x180", 23x300".
Thank you for watching!
Clear skies!
