How to perform a RVS Technology treatment to a differential or sealed transmission
A short video showing how to perform a differential/rear end treatment to your vehicle. The treatment will help protect, restore and make your mechanism last much longer, especially under hard use.
The same basic procedure applies to most sealed transmissions that do not have a dipstick.
NOTE: RVS treatments are also safe with Limited Slip differentials since our product DOES NOT adhere to organic material (like clutch plates or differential friction plates).

TREATING MANUAL AND
AUTOMATIC GEARBOXES AND
REAR AXLES / DIFFERENTIALS
WITH RVS TECHNOLOGY™
TRANSMISSION TREATMENT
• RVS Technology© Treatment makes it possible
to restore different kinds of wearing parts to their
original condition provided they are only worn out
but not damaged.
• If there are active Teflon, molybdenum, or other
additives in the oil, the unit must be flushed
thoroughly before the treatment.
• Before starting the treatment procedure, make
sure that there are no oil leaks in the device and
that the condition and quantity of oil corresponds
to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Every package includes the quantity of compound
required for one treatment of transmission of the
indicated size.
TREATMENT
step by step
Set the hose on the syringe end.
Squeeze the contents of the small tube into the
syringe.
Set the piston in the syringe, turn the syringe with
the hose end upwards and squeeze the air out of
the syringe.
Remove the upper oil cap of the gearbox or differential and take approx. 20 ml of oil from the device
with the syringe.
Take air into the syringe until the piston edge is at
the 50-ml marking.
Shake the syringe until the mixture inside is
homogeneous.
Squeeze the contents of the syringe into the
gearbox / differential.
Set the oil cap back on and tighten it.
Lay the vehicle down and drive it. Avoid running
the engine over 3000 rpm during the first hour.
When treating a manual or automatic gearbox, run
the vehicle and engine brake on every gear during
the first hour (urban driving conditions).
The treatment is complete after a mileage of 1000 km
(600 miles) (tractors: after approx. 20 h of
operation).
Notice
Transmissions, the mileage of which exceeds
200,000 km (120,000 miles), may require another
treatment that should be started after a mileage of
approx. 400 km (250 miles) after completion of the
