This is a new series 'Fireside Chat with Shishir Mittal' by Vyas Edification Kota which will involve a general scientific gossip and trivia which may not be, strictly speaking, within rigid realms of science. Actually, original scientific thought requires open minded free thinking. Amidst long standing theories and stellar scientists, it tends to get lost that there could be next generation science embarking on horizons where the current scientific thought ends.

We will also share some very interesting stories. The stories of strange discoveries and amazing scientists. All this from a master storyteller, which makes the entire experience unforgettable.

The intention behind such Fireside Chats is to ignite young scientific minds. It is the fire of imagination fueled by logic and supported by meticulous experimentation that has built up science till this point. It is our humble attempt to keep this fire burning.

Shishir Mittal (SM Sir), holds B.Tech from the fabled IIT-Bombay (1998 batch). First teacher of IIT-JEE Chemistry at Kota, he is counted as one of the four Founding Fathers of Kota Coachings. He has coached many (in-fact, more than many) of the IIT-JEE top rankers, right from the beginning of Kota's rise to national fame. Much of the study material of competitive exam Chemistry at Std. XII level in India comes from his desk, from his past work as founding faculty of Chemistry at Bansal Classes, as well as as National Head of Chemistry at Resonance Eduventures Ltd. in past.
