Hiking to the Roof of Puerto Rico: The Real Puerto Rico (Episode 2)

Dalan and Elise travel through the municipality of Orocovis in search of the highest peak in Puerto Rico. Come along as we discover hidden waterfalls, soaring mountain vistas, and a side trip to the best roadside restaurant in Toro Negro State Park! By the way, Cerro la Punta is actually in Jayuya, not Orocovis - thanks to Javier Rivera for pointing out this important factoid!

UPDATE in 2019: Hi everyone, Dalan here! (It has been several years since I looked in on this video.) It is sad to me to see how many people below are making political comments. This video is not, nor is it meant to be, political in any way. Elise is born and raised in Puerto Rico and we are very aware of the political realities of everything we say. We tried to be very careful not to offend anyone or step on any political toes. Since the videos are in English, we used the common words in English for these concepts, many of which do not have an easy translation from Spanish to English. There is no perfect solution, but bear in mind this video IS in English and is aimed at people who know nothing about our beautiful Island. There is enough fighting and bad feeling in our world. Please view the video for exactly what it is: A quick video offering a fun road trip to a beautiful spot in Puerto Rico. Nothing else is to be implied or inferred.
