Set and forget the mean reversion day-trade. This is a mean reversion day trading strategy which you can use when you can't monitor the screen all the time. You can do this kind of trade in small size; not something you should put a lot of risk on. Because the real sweet-spot is when you can examine and adjust for the market conditions as they change intraday. I'm going to look at the 10-period ATR (average range of the last 10 days) - market could be anything really. You are trying to mark the key support and resistance levels. And what you're doing is if the support or resistance levels fall to within 1 ATR from the open (or expect open) then you can initiate an order. Let's go on the theory behind this.
