How to Transfer Photos From iPhone to iPhone (Easy Method)

You can quickly transfer photos from one iPhone to another using AirDrop by ensuring both devices have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on, are near each other, and set to accept AirDrop from contacts or everyone.

Step 1 — Prepare Both iPhones
Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices.

Enable AirDrop: Open the Control Center (swipe down from the top-right on iPhone X and later, swipe up from the bottom on older models) → press and hold the network settings card → tap AirDrop → select Contacts Only or Everyone depending on your needs.

Step 2 — Select Photos to Send
Open the Photos app on the sending iPhone.

Navigate to the album or photos you want to transfer.
Tap Select in the top-right corner and choose the photos you wish to send.
Tap the Share icon (square with an upward arrow).

Step 3 — Use AirDrop to Send Photos
In the sharing options, tap the AirDrop user that you want to send photos to. The receiving iPhone should appear on the AirDrop list.
On the receiving iPhone, a prompt will appear to Accept or Decline the incoming photos. Tap Accept.

Step 4 — Verify Transfer
The photos will automatically appear in the Photos app on the receiving iPhone.

If multiple photos are transferred, they may take a few moments to fully appear depending on their size and quantity.
