The road was blocked and so we decided to cross the mighty "Beas" river through the hanging suspension bridge and perhaps, the only bridge within a range of 10 Kms employed by the villagers to commute across the river! Keen to scrutinize it's reliability, we made a quick examination. Alas! To our surprise the width of that bridge was found to be merely 2 inch more than that of our "ISUZU V-Cross." Also, we could not presume the consistency of it's width up to the other end. Had this happened, we could have been left with no alternative and been gripped into a troublesome situation. With utmost care and rigour, we could successfully accomplish this task:). The local folks as well as the other fellow tourists declared us insane. Afraid of getting the bridge closed if we got stuck in between, people were quite reluctant in letting us undertake this "full of guts" task which was no less than a mission. But we left no stone unturned, sticked to our guns and touched the zenith with glory!
