(1884) NYT (Wirecutter) Recommended Bike Lock

Every Sunday the NYT recommends "good" stuff selected by their experts. Wirecutter recommended this bike Kryptonite U-lock. Admittedly, it is not a bad lock and they've made many upgrades over the past year. Still, bike thieves don't use the pickthatLockPickingLawyerandImade to steal bikes. They use die grinders, which render virtually ALL locks obsolete for outside or long-term storage. If you want to KEEP your bike, remove the temptation and store it INSIDE.
