Cheap CO2 laser cooler and upgrades for y-1200
Amazon links to some of the parts used and prices at current time
$16 Thermostat - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OXPE8U6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$18 pump - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006M6MTAK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$15 kinda-optional water flow sensor - search Ebay for "water flow sensor protect switch" or get it direct from Cloudray
$11 optional second temperature display - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DVSIYN2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$30-50 mini fridge - look locally on OfferUp or Facebook marketplace, whatever people use to sell used stuff in your area. These are very common in my area students and kids get them for their rooms then get rid of them. Avoid the peltier/TEC models you want one with a compressor.
TOTAL = $64-110 plus whatever some tubing and a water jug from the local store cost. This is less than the CW-3000 costs and it is doesn't have a compressor so it won't work well in warm areas. The CW-5200 was the cheapest phase-change cooler I could find and it goes for around $375.
$13 Belt tensioners - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088DQZ4SW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These require some modification to fit the 9mm wide belts, I used a drill press vise to hold them on my chopsaw and cut the part that holds the pulley out wider. If this isn't something that you are comfortable with DO NOT TRY IT. Use a file or a dremel or something safer.
