This creamy chicken casserole has just 3 main ingredients and a buttery Ritz topping… and it’s been a family favorite since I was a kid.

After we got married, Whitney found out it was one of my childhood favorites and learned to make it just to surprise me, now it’s one of the meals our kids ask for most.
Whether you use rotisserie chicken or boil your own, this recipe is comforting, easy to throw together, and perfect for busy weeknights. This one is a true Dump & Bake recipe!

RECIPE
Ingredients:
• 2–3 chicken breasts, boiled and shredded (or use rotisserie chicken)
• 1 can of cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
• 1 cup sour cream
• 2–3 sleeves Ritz crackers, crushed
• 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix shredded chicken, soup, and sour cream in a bowl.
3. Spread into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
4. Top with crushed Ritz crackers and drizzle melted butter on top.
5. Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

Optional stuffing topping:
Make casserole without ritz and 1 box of chicken stovetop stuffing. Crumble stuffing on top of casserole and bake on 350 (no butter drizzle needed)

Bonus for the stovetop stuffing topping is that you can mix the leftovers and rebake with ritz topping the next day!
