The Lagos Housing Crisis

In 2019, the United Nations sent a Special Rapporteur on housing to Nigeria to assess the housing crisis. The report concluded that regardless of considerable economic growth, most people still live in the informal housing sector, hindered by poverty, discrimination and continuous forced evictions.
