Drive cam pedal EXPLAINED

Basically, there are 2 types of cam for the pedal, The rounded one and the eccentric one, In this short video I try to give you some information to make a better decision when you are buying a new pedal and to consider which cam is best for you, or to re-think your current if suit your need or not.

Those considerations are for both single pedal and double pedal.
The rounded cam is for control and speed, the Pearl Demon mount one, the Sonor Perfect Balance too, also Tama and DW have the same type of cam.
For DW is called Turbo Drive, For Tama is Rolling Glide

The eccentric cam is for power, every modern pedal mounts one of these, de DW version is called Accelerator Drive, The Tama one is Power Glide, and for the Pearl Eliminator is the red or blue cam.

I hope this was helpful!
