Heart Touching Lord Murugan Song - Mannanalum Thiruchenduril Mannaven by Abhidheya
Dear Viewers,
This Tamizh song made for Lord Murugan was beautifully rendered by Sri Thoguluva Meenatchi Iyengar Soundarrajan ji. I have tried to sing this song by learning from Sri TM Soundarrajan ji's singing. This song has a beautiful meaning : The Devotee wants to be somewhere near the Lord, no matter whoever and wherever he is. The Devotee says "If I ever turn into mud, I would like to be the mud of Thiruchendur so as to support Your Gorgeous Temple. If I ever turn into a tree, may I be a tree in Pazhamuthircholai, so as to produce sweet fruits for You to eat. If I ever turn into a boulder, I would like to be one among the boulders in Thanigai Malai to support Your Temple atop the Hill. If I ever turn into grass that cows eat, still Lord Murugan will Gracefully turn me into flowers that will be offered unto Him. If I ever turn into gold, I would like to be made into Your Honorable Spear or Vel, so as to be able to see You. If I ever turn into a flower, I would like to bloom as a flower on the banks of Your Holy River Poigai, so as to be offered to your Holy Feet. If I ever turn into Tamizh speech, I would like to be the Holy text of Thiruppugazh, so as to be chanted in your Temples. If I ever become an Ignorant person, still Lord Murugan will Gracefully give me the spiritual knowledge on the self and the soul. If I ever turn into a word, I would like to be the spiritual sound vibration "Om", so as to be heard in Your Temples. If I ever turn into the taste of fruits, I would like to be the Panchaamritam, so as to be offered to You. If I only receive Your most Valuable Blessings, I will certainly get the freedom from the cycle of birth and death which is the ultimate goal {Salvation or Moksham}, so as to be able to see you in reality. If I ever become a Lonely Individual, still Lord Murugan will place me in a group of Satsang or in the company of Good people, just as a field of grass. Grass never grows alone. Each grass has a connected root with the other, hence if the entire field is green, even the one dry grass will turn green - even so, if the entire field is dry, even the one green grass will dry....
