HOW TO: Fix broken DJI Inspire 1 Gimbal and Mounting Plate (DJI Inspire 1 Crash)

On a shoot in Hawaii I ended up flying about 3 inches too close to something and ripped the camera right off my quadcopter and busting it into several pieces. When I finally found the camera the SD card had the footage of the Inspire 1 crash but the file was corrupted and I wouldn’t play at all. After I did this repair and put the card back in the card still wouldn’t read so I did a format on it which magically fixed the footage that was corrupted. Unfortunately the video cuts out about 20 seconds before the actual crash so it’s really not super exciting. I would have loved to at least have some good crash footage from this experience. Not quite an epic drone fail... but still not fun.
