How To Decorate Cookies for Valentine's Day

This year I decided to keep things simple with my Valentine’s Day cookies. I used only flood consistency royal icing and a round decorating tip 2. This is unlike my Valentine’s Day cookies from past years, which have involved many icing consistencies, colors, decorating tips and even some fondant!

For this project you will need:

Roll out cookie recipe (my cookie recipe is available in the tutorial shop)
Heart shaped cookie cutter
Flood consistency royal icing
Scribe tool
Round decorating tip 2

Colors:
Red = Americolor tulip red + burgundy + a touch of black
White = a touch of Wilton golden yellow
Pink = Wilton aster mauve from the garden tone set
