Use 4-fingers pinch or in reverse use a 4-finger zoom. You can use 5-fingers multi-touch gestures too.

If you need to toggle and switch between apps you can use the gestures navigation bad and swipe left or right on the navigation bar to switch between apps or you can also use a multitouch gesture to switch between apps by swiping left or right anywhere on the iPad screen.
