UN report raids on aid warehouses in Gaza

Aid supplies into Gaza continue to trickle through but it’s still nowhere near enough to support displaced residents.

Aid supplies into Gaza have been choked since Israel declared war following a surprise attack by the ruling militant group Hamas on October 7.

The UN is reporting raids on its aid warehouses, a sign that Gaza residents have reached “breaking point”.

It’s a worrying sign as the effects of three weeks of blockade and bombardment make themselves felt.

The UNRWA has been forced to reduce the scale of its humanitarian operations within Gaza because it couldn’t distribute fuel to some medical facilities.
