We are our own worst enemy, because we make ourselves unhappy by not accepting what is, by preferring things to be other than what they are. We can be at peace if we choose to want what God wants. That way, we're always getting what we want. We will not grow in peace nor will we grow in holiness until we recognize in all things an opportunity to lives God's will for us.
