If I may be honest; some of you may find this video not quite as exciting as the normal videos but I hope that’s not the case. After researching Ed Nazelrod from the Abandoned VW Bus video, I went back to explore the area some more. I found out the area had been mined during the Anasazi period starting around 500 A.D. Near the end of the video I talk about the impressions and older dig sites; its said to be more of the ancient mines by the Indians; why they weren’t explored I don’t know. I did manage to find some Black Obsidian, White Quartz, Turquoise, and Basalt, I’m not sure what class they fall into ie: rock, mineral or gems. The Basalt rocks are described in the articles as the “stone hammers” used by the Indians of the period. I just find it exciting and amazing to be walking around the same area as the Indians did over a thousand years ago.
I think the cabin may have been one of Ed Nazelrods prospecting cabins for overnight stays possibly. I did manage to find what I believe was his actual residence; it was another abandoned trailer behind the mountain with mailing labels for Ed Nazelrod. I’ll start working on that video soon and one for Turquoise mountain
