Shirring casings machine

This machine has been designed for shirring casings on rigid tubes of various diameters and lengths.
The machine can vary its speed and the compression of the film, and change the diameter of the tube with extreme easy.
It is essentially composed of two parts: the structure and the head. It is possible to see two shirring weels on the head that shirring the film on the tube. There are two rails on the structure that permit the displacement of the head.
Starting from the reel , the machine shirr the casings on rigid tube. The rotation of the shirring weels with the rubber shirring elements shirr the casing on the tube Displacement towards the right is regulated by a electronc brake
The machine not make the “normal stick”, but shirr the casing over a rigud tube
HOW ITS WORKS:
Insert the tube on the relevant support and lock it.
Unroll a part of the reel and then insert the film on the tube until it rests on the pulling cylinders.
Press the start button and tha machine start to shirr the casing.
You can stop the machin with the stop button or automaticaly with:
- Mechanic came
- Meter counter
When the machine stop, you can taek off the tube with shirrin casing over it
Is possible regolate the compression of casing with electronic brake and the velocity of rotation of shirring weels.

TYPE OF CASINGS:
The machine tested with different tipe of casing:
- Plastic
- Tisseu
- Fibrus
- Fibran
- fibrus+net

SPEED AND COMPRESSION:
Is possible regulation the speed of shirring with mechanical variator, and is possible the variation of compression with electronc brake.
The maximun speed and compression change a lot in funtion of:
- tipe of material
- thickness
- Slippery
- strenght
Normally for plastic casing, yhe medium speed is 15mt/min, and compression 60mt of casing for 1 mt of tube.

CALIBER AND MANDREL(RIGID TUBE):
The machine tested with plastic casig with caliber from Ø40mm to Ø200mm
We tested the mandrel from Ø30mm to Ø102mm.
The madrel is made coustom for the coustomer and normally are in stailess steel with teflon coatig, but is possible in plastic of paper.
The different tube are fast easy to change
Normally the coustomer buy a little stock of mandrell for not have stop during working time.

SHIRRING WEELS:
The shirring weels are in two parts:
drum in plastic (FDA)
shirring elements (silicon FDA)
In the same drum can put different size of shirrng elements.
Now are availble two standard size of shirring elements
- Ø63mm Canal – normally can shirr caliber from Ø50mm to Ø85mm
- Ø102mm Canal – normally can shirr caliber from Ø85mm to Ø125mm

Is possible order shirring elements with custom canal.
the shirring elements are wear out and system of extraction from the drum it is fast and easy.

OPENING AND CLOSING OF SHIRRING WEELS:
According of caliber of mandrel(rigud tube) can change the press of weels on the mandrel.
Whith the appropriate adjustment handle can change the distance between the wheels and the resulting pressure.
Is possible change the position of the upper weels

STOP OF THE MACHINE
Can stop the machine with 4 system:
- Emergency button
- STOP button
- Came sensor over the rails
- Meter counter

METER COUNTER:
The machine have a digital meter counter.
With a wheel and a magnetic sensor can cuonter the shirring casing. After push start button the machine start to shirring and it stops after reaching the setpoint and automatically reset the counter.
the meter counter can be deactivated

LENGTH OF MACHINE:
The standard machine have the rails 2mt long and can shirr over a mandrel maximun 1,2mt long. On request is avaible machine with different lenght (the maximun rails length we maded is 4mt)

REEL DIMENSION:
The standard machine can load reel with maximun diameter Ø450mm and maximun with length 200mm
On request we can made custom reels support.

- Structure and metallic parts: all stailess steel
- Plastic parts (weel, rell support, ecc..) POM (FDA)
- Shirring elements: silicon (FDA)
The machine is CE certification, and respect the european law.
Avaible linguage manual: Italian, English, German

Power: 380v+ N 50hz (5wire) 0,32kw
On request we can change the alimentation elettric voltage.
