DO NOT BE DECIEVED | Funeral Rites of Very Rev Fr Patrick Omutah

We gathered in faith, to give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of our brother, Fr. Patrick Omutah. He was a gentleman, a decent man, a joyful human being, a happy priest, a resourceful person, and an intelligent man and ready to play along with others when it is necessary. He was a team player and one who had the foresight to work for the Lord. But as we give thanks to God, we also pray him, since it has pleased him to call him out of our midst, we pray him in his fatherly love, to welcome him into the joys of heaven. We pray for divine consolation and strength on the members of his biological family who were very dear to him, on the members of his class, among whom he was a pillar and a resourceful person, very much loved among them and on all those who will feel the pains of his exit. May Almighty God console us and give us the grace to live in such a way that death will never take us unawares. May we prepare for a holy death with a good life.
