In this Blue Bossa guitar lesson I'm going to be showing you the guitar chords and the rhythm in a beginner friendly way. I'll guide you through each of the Blue Bossa guitar chords easy and slowly, note for note. There is also a slow tempo playthrough towards the end of the tutorial of the entire tune.

I'll show you the Blue Bossa guitar rhythm, a one bar Samba / Bossa Nova pattern, we'll use throughout the whole song. We'll be using our fingers to play the rhythm comping, but Hybrid Picking is possible too.

There's really no reason to fear the Blue Bossa guitar jazz chords! First off, the song form is really short, only 16 measures. Secondly there aren't that many chords in the tune. We have aminor cadence and a major cadence and that's about it. These Blue Bossa chords guitar repeat themselves multiple times. At the end of my Blue Bossa guitar tutorial you'll also understand what a II V I progression in jazz is and you'll already have learned how to play two of them.
