The Demoss Center for Worship in the Performing Arts’ semi-annual Merit Recital features the best work of students taking private music lessons as adjudicated by the music faculty at Judson University. A free-will offering is collected at each recital to support the DCWPA’s ongoing efforts to provide musical instruments for the band program at Farm Primary School in Montego Bay, Jamaica, which the Judson University Choir visits whenever it travels to Jamaica with the DCWPA’s Artist-in-Residence and native Jamaican, Rev. Dr. Huntley Brown.
