How to Read an Order Flow Chart: Supply vs Demand

In this video, Shai explains one of the most important foundations of reading an Orderflow chart: the role of supply and demand.

On the Vtrender Orderflow chart, the left side represents supply — sellers and sell-side activity. The right side represents demand — buyers and buy-side activity.

This distinction is important because Orderflow is not just about seeing numbers inside a candle. It is about understanding what happened inside the bar, where supply appeared, where demand appeared, and whether buyers or sellers were doing a better job.

The video also explains why Vtrender keeps this structure simple and consistent. Supply stays on the left. Demand stays on the right. Whether the order is a limit order, market order, buy-to-open, or buy-to-cover, the focus is on the side of the market it contributes to.

This is a basic concept, but it becomes the foundation for reading intent, initiative activity, absorption, response, and market structure through Orderflow.
