A few interests are good, but too many interests become unmanageable
We all have a "thing" that we are passionate about. We likely have more than one "thing." The problem comes when we feel like everything we own is our "thing."
Unfortunately, we don't have enough capacity to do all the things we'd like to do, so to keep our home in a manageable state, we have to pick which "things" will be OUR things.
