Rumours are this new record by DJ Metatron on Giegling offshoot Traumprinz is another alias of Traumprinz/Prince Of Denmark himself! Given the title of this EP and the fact it's jam packed with material that not only stares skywards, is this the Prince adding a new early '90s 'intelligent techno' project to his highly regarded discography? Regardless of the rumours, the title track is a particularly delicious rolling, pad-laden chunk of heavenly deepness with the relentless melodic appeal of vintage electronic dance music. Elsewhere, there are nods to the era of breakbeat-driven house - see the classic chords and rave-era shuffle of "Rave Child" and "The Colour (Sad Sad Euphoria Breakbeat Mix)" - immersive ambient techno ("Oh Ah") and deliciously star-gazing ambience ("Spiralworlds").
