Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau tells CBC chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton Canada was surprised by how quickly the Taliban were able to retake Afghanistan but defends airlift efforts that rescued more than 3,700 people from Kabul even as many others were left behind.
