For me, this video is a lesson. A lesson of how media statistics can scare people and distort their ideas on what the reality of being in certain countries are. Just because a country is 'dangerous', does not mean that all the people are bad.
I went to El Salvador with an awareness that it had an incredibly bad stereotype for being violent and dangerous. It also has one of the highest murder / homicide rates in the world, but what does this actually mean?

I hitchhiked there, I couch-surfed there and I met incredible, kind hearted people. This video is about my experience in El Salvador, an interview with my couch-surfing host on his views of the country, and a few life lessons of what travelling will teach you ;)
