National Miners Day
On National Miners Day, we remember the 362 lives lost in the Dec. 6, 1907, Monongah mine disaster and throughout the history of mining in the United States. It’s also a day we recognize the critical work performed by today’s miners, which provides important materials we all use in our daily lives.
