DRIVING MADRID TO LONDON DIDN'T GO TO PLAN.... | ROADTRIP FAIL

Sam and I flew to Madrid, where he was purchasing a Land Rover. The idea was to drive back to London.... that didn't quite go to plan!

All went well for about 400 miles... The car then lost power going up a hill and it transpired to be a road trip ending issue as we didn't have a replacement oil seal.

We found a mechanic (also called MAX, Great name)100 miles south of Bordeaux who agreed to fix the car and an added bonus was that we could leave it with him in the mean time.

The issue then became how to get back to the UK for work.... we managed to
catch a train for the last 100 miles to Bordeaux, where we managed to get the last two seats on an EasyJet flight to London Luton Airport.

All in all a great trip! You have to learn to be resourceful!
