Natarajan Chandrasekaran, the chairman of Tata Sons, exemplifies the potential for career advancement from entry-level positions to top leadership roles. He began his journey as an intern at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in 1987 and dedicated 30 years to the company, ultimately serving as CEO for eight years until 2017. Under his leadership, TCS emerged as India's most valuable company. In 2016, he joined the Board of Tata Sons and was appointed chairman in January 2017, overseeing several key companies within the Tata Group, including Tata Steel, Tata Motors, and Air India.

Chandrasekaran, born in 1963, holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences and a Master's in Computer Applications. He resides in Mumbai with his wife, Lalitha, near the residence of Mukesh Ambani.
