The Laundromat Project Gather & Act 2020
Celebrating 15 years of Art & Activism
In this unusual 2020, The LP is marking a major milestone of 15 years of making art, building community, and creating change. While we cannot come together in person at this time, the Gather and Act virtual program will feature five new works from LP alumni Abby Dobson, LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs, Karina Aguilera Skvirsky, Jaime Sunwoo, and Katherine Toukhy, commissioned in partnership with the Park Avenue Armory and National Black Theatre. We will also honor the work of some amazing community-based organizations, including Brooklyn Movement Center, Harriet's Apothecary, Kelly Street Garden, and North Star Fund's Let Us Breathe Fund.
