Axe modification part 1/3 - Reshaping of the handle

I'm modifying a 36" Gränsfors Bruk American Felling Axe.
The handle was already thinned but not enough and I wanted to see if shortening it and carving it a new palm swell would work, saving me from buying a new shorter one.
