Whether it is paid sick leave, maternity leave/parental leave, dental/vision benefits, or the regulation of prescription drug costs, German Public Healthcare (gesetzliche Krankenversicherung - GKV) has managed to do something something the United States can't seem to do: provide health care and wellbeing benefits for everybody at an affordable cost.
