Introduction to the varioPROP

This is a short introduction to the varioPROP taken at the 2011 International Modeling Fair in Dortmund, Germany.

The varioPROP is a propeller, for both electric and gas powered radio-control model airplanes, whose pitch can be adjusted on the ground—and not in flight—to optimized a model's performance. Primary optimizing factors include the model's motor, battery (if electrically powered) and weight.

The varioPROP was designed by Christian Ramoser and is made by Ramoser Design + Technik in Kaufering, Germany.
