storyline :
lucas maximoff. he was born with vitiligo, a skin disease that causes part of your skin a different color, or something like that. his father is very strict. he often forces him to wear a mask so then no one can see his vitiligo. it's a "shame" according to charles, luca's father.
as time goes on, luca slowly realizes he has no attraction to female, rather to males. he kept it to himself. until charles' coworker caught him with a guy, kissing.
charles found out and they both had a big fight. when their fight gets really bad and heated. charles would lock luca in a dark closet for days. of course, he still gives food. but sometimes he would come in, and hurt him. mentally, and physically. he tried to change luca into loving a girl. it didn't work and they both argued again. queen, luca's mother. wanted them to stop arguing so she went on her husband's side. luca was forced to cut ties with kyle. turns out kyle wasn't as nice as luca thought he was.
luca realizes, at the time he only had one person to rely on, himself.
his mother finally realized he couldn't change her son. he's not broken, he's still luca. she accepted who he was. while charles on the other hand, never did.
