I visited the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, Gori, Georgia. Full of surprises!

I left Tsalenjikha to finish my math tour of Georgia in Gori (გორი), where I gave a talk at Gori State Teaching University (გორის სახელმწიფო სასწავლო უნივერსიტეტი). Gori is an ancient city and infamously known as the hometown of the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. Overall, I actually had a easier and more drama-free time here than I did in the rest of Georgia, though! I was curious why there are still some people in Georgia that Idolize Stalin, so I went around with my translator, Natia, to talk to people and get their viewpoints. This is something really interesting to me as an American as I've only heard one side of this story.
