Orthodontic and surgical treatment of impacted canine and gummy smile｜【Chris Chang Ortho】554

An 18-year-old female sought treatment for her impacted upper right canine and gummy smile. The treatment plan was to expose the impaction by open window surgery after extracting 4 first premolars and two primary canines and then move it into occlusion. After 40 months of orthodontic treatment, gingivectomy was performed to improve smile esthetics.

一名18歲的患者因為右上犬齒阻生，合併露齦笑的問題求診。治療計畫是拔除四顆第ㄧ小臼齒及兩顆乳犬齒後，做開窗手術曝露阻生齒，再把它牽引到位。40個月矯正療程結束後再進行牙齦切除術，明顯的改善露齦笑的問題。
