HOW TO CHANGE/FIX ABS PUMP FAILURE | VAUXHALL CORSA D |

** Bleed the brake system after fitting pump **
The Vauxhall Corsa (D) between 2006 and 2014 has a common fault with the braking system. The ABS pump commonly fails giving rise to a lack of braking effort to the front brake caliper, resulting in the vehicle pulling to one side. In my case the driver side caliper was the issue, however this fault is more common with the passenger side.

This was a dangerous issue that happened to me during an emergency stop where the braking force was reduced and the car swerved to the left. From inspection I found that no brake fluid was being supplied to the caliper making it impossible to bleed the brakes, and therefore the piston wasn't moving to compress the brake pads. Leading me to think the issue was an internal fault within the ABS pump.

Managed to get my hands on a second hand pump for a decent price, but there are services that refurbish existing pumps at a little more extra cost of a used one. This is a pretty simple swap of pumps that would save alot of money with labour cost by following my video.
However, I am not responsible for any damage caused.

Hope you all find the video helpful and good luck with your ABS Pump :)
