Visiting Massive Exotic Parrot Aviary

Thought id upload a condensed version of our visit to “Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World” in Qld Australia **many of these birds are rescues and surrendered**
Roku, Korra, Pabu, Khyber & some friends were invited to come along as special guests as we are friends with the owner (Yes all vet checked prior).

On arrival it was clear that there was a established hierarchy with the Greenwing being the top dog! Roku & Khyber were very low on the rank and chose to stay close to us as the other macaws were a little full on. Hilarious thing though, the macaws and resident Greenwing tried to put it over Korra and she went all flame princess on them. Next minute... Korra was the top dog and all the macaws were trying to feed her and suck up 😂 she had my and Roku’s back 🙌

It was great seeing so many species of birds! Pabu was a little overwhelmed as he’s never seen that many birdies before but soon settled, for those who have not been before and are in the area i highly recommend it!
