🔧 SEBC Quota in Technical Education | Prepaid Meter Update & Bill Hike | Rath Yatra 1k Buses to Puri

📚 SEBC Reservation in Technical Education:
The Odisha government is set to introduce reservations for students belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) in technical courses, as announced by Skill Development & Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain.
⚡ Prepaid Smart Meters & Electricity Bills:
The Energy Department has clarified that static meters in good condition will not be replaced within five years of installation, addressing concerns about prepaid smart meter installations and rising electricity bills.
🚌 Rath Yatra 2025: Special Bus Service to Puri:
To manage the massive footfall during the world-renowned Rath Yatra, around 1,000 buses will be deployed across Odisha to ferry devotees to Puri. This was decided at a high-level meeting chaired by Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur, along with officials from various departments and the Odisha Bus Owners’ Association.
